I have made millions and now I want to share this get rich secret with you. Ten years ago, I was broke and was on the verge of sleeping on the pavements. One rainy night, as I was lying on a bench in the park, I noticed some ants pulling a dead lizard a thousand times their size and body weight. The sight struck me like a bolt of lightning and all of a sudden, every thing became so clear to me. I can make millions, just as the ants leveraging on their sheer numbers to overcome the impossible.

That was from my own figment of imagination but I am sure you have read something similar somewhere. This has got to be one of the oldest sales pitch in the world. Claiming to be broke before they hit it big and frankly, I have have read some that are even more preposterous.

One related how he went down the basement to go over his grandma’s, who has just passed away, belonging and stumbled upon a century old book which recorded the secret to predicting the winning Lottery numbers. He too wants to share that secret so everyone else can strike the multi million jackpot.

Desperation and greed is often the succumbing factor. These two senses clouds the mind and more often than not, causes one to make foolish decisions. A fool and his money is soon parted or so the saying goes.

Understand what goes into getting the traffic to your blog and what goes into making money online and you will relieve yourself from the temptation of wasting your dough on some far reaching claims. In whatever you do, it is your lack of understanding that breeds uncertainty and low self confidence.

Just like installing a light switch by yourself, the second before you flip the Mains back on is the most anxious moment, for you are not a trained electrician and you have no way to confidently say you have the wires right. If you have been trained in that filed, you can simply flip on the Mains without battling an eyelid. Simply because, you know.

Like wise, if your blog gets 20 hits per day and you know for sure the reasons why, you will not feel the desperation of wanting to find the magic bullet. Simply again, you know and when you know, you can either give it up or blog away happily for the 20 people who reads your blog.

However, it is hard to contain desperation and greed. Even when you know that you might be taken for a rough ride, you are willing to risk it. You keep trying to justify your action with the “what if”, “even if” and “it’s only” reasoning.

That’s why people make millions selling get rich secrets that had made them millions. What made them want to share such a valuable secret for a mere $97 is beyond me. If I was in his shoes, I will keep it all to myself. I won’t even let my wife know.
