BYTubeD is a Firefox extension to download YouTube videos in bulk. It can be used to download all/selected YouTube videos on any page which has some links to Youtube videos, by clicking the BYTubeD menu item in the Tools menu or in the context menu (i.e., the right-click menu). It becomes particularly handy in downloading YouTube play lists. You also can save youtube video in MP4 format if it is available.

For download the video either enter an appropriate selection filter in the Selection Filter field. Or select the titles manually by holding Ctrl key while selecting the individual titles.

Keyboard Shortcuts

Alt-Y : Invokes BYTubeD on the current web page.
Ctrl-A : Selects all videos for download.
Alt-F : Transfers focus to the Selection Filter field.
Alt-S or ENTER : Starts enqueueing the videos for download.
Alt-C or ESCAPE : Cancels the selection window.
Alt-B : Opens a Browse dialog to select the destination directory.
Alt-D : Transfers focus to destination directory field.
Alt-M : Selects MP4 > FLV. (Try for MP4 first; if MP4 is not found, then try for FLV.)
Alt-L : Selects FLV.
Alt-Q : Toggles "Get HQ versions if available". (HQ = High Quality)
Alt-H or F1 : Opens this help page.

How do I invoke BYTubeD?

There are atleast 3 ways to invoke BYTubeD:

Press Alt-Y
Click on the Tools -> BYTubeD menu item
Right click and then click on BYTubeD

You will finde MP4 > FLV in Bulk Youtube Downloader: It means that you would like to download the videos in MP4 format if they are available in MP4 format. If they are not available in MP4 format, then BYTubeD will try to fetch them in FLV format.
